Clive is a serial entrepreneur with a portfolio of success within Wealth & Investment Management, Family Offices, as well as innovative, disruptive technologies, prior to recently forming Global Futures Sport.
Clive spent much of his early career within leading edge technologies, a veteran of the internet age, Clive was a founder of one of the UK’s premier technology innovators of the 90’s, taking a company from 4 to 240 staff before a trade sale in 2001. Following on from these experiences Clive was headhunted to become CEO of a new disruptive insurance company, responsible for creating niche insurance products which were white labelled to major financial institutions across Europe for distribution at a retail level. Starting the business from scratch and building it to a turnover in excess of £150m, prior to its sale to a private equity firm in 2005.
Since 2007 Clive has worked within the Wealth & Investment Management sector, building a global multi-family office, focused on providing his services to global sportspeople, sports managers and clubs, assisted these individuals and businesses with ventures across the UK, Europe and Middle East. Clive sold his first venture in this area in 2015 and had the idea to form Global Futures Sport.
Jake joins Global Futures Sports following productive spells supporting players and managers both on and off the pitch at two well respected football management agencies.
He has successfully placed over 25 players during his time in the industry. Now in his fifth year in the business, Jake is our ‘man on the ground’ liaising with our agency partners and providing support for our managerial recruitment service.
Dean is a Former Chairman of the Professional Footballers Association for 3 years. He is qualified in Football coaching and managing, Dean holds Uefa ‘Pro’Licence, coaching badges and Uefa A and B Licences.
Dean had 4 Promotions in his Football career which spanned over 20 years. Over 700 games and 250 goals. He holds a Position in Brentford Fc ‘Hall of Fame’, for his 38 goals in the Championship winning team in 1992, Breaking a post war goalscoring record. Dean was Bought by Wimbledon Fc for a fee of £1 Million pounds in 1992/93 season of the Premier League. He currently holds the record for most goals scored in the premier league for Wimbledon Football club.
Dean has had 1 England appearance v Ireland, scoring a goal in a 3-2 win. Bought for a record fee, £3.5M by Bolton Wanderers in 1997, where he played for 5 years, over 150 games and 50 goals.
Dean went on to fulfil his role as a manager, notably Newport County, where he won the National league Championship with a record 103 points and was voted Manger of the Year by his peers.
He then managed Aldershot Town Fc for over 100 games, reaching the 3rd round of the FA Cup against Manchester United, managed by Sir Alex Ferguson. He managed a team on tight constraints and managed to take the team to 11th in Championship 2.
Dean has a vast experience in football operational structures, maintaining a high level of standards and dealing with commercial partners.
Sabina has 12 yrs experience in the accountancy sector, having built and run a successful accountancy & bookkeeping practice which subsequently sold in 2012.
Sabina is Director of Finance, running the financial operations of Global Futures Sports and many of our Sports clients.
